For support or collaborations. Please do not send your PIN, medical details, or contact numbers in a message.
Activate a tag
Scan the sticker with your phone camera, or open the Pedalink scanner and enter the tag code manually. No app is needed. Follow the prompts to add the details you want to share and choose a PIN for future edits.
If you stopped during setup, scan again. If the tag is already active, sign in with your name and PIN to continue.
Edit or remove details
Use Edit Your Tag with the name on your profile and your PIN. You can update details, change your PIN, deactivate a lost tag, or delete your personal data. Deactivation hides the public profile permanently. Deleted tag codes are never reused.
There is no automatic PIN reset. Keep your PIN somewhere secure; never share it with someone who scans the tag.
Fix a scanning problem
Keep the whole QR code and its border in view. Wipe the sticker, avoid glare, hold the camera steady, and move a little closer or farther away. Check your internet connection if the profile does not open.
If the Pedalink scanner cannot access your camera, allow camera permission in your browser or enter the code manually. A damaged or heavily obscured QR may need a replacement tag.
Using a profile in an emergency
The profile shows only the details the rider chose to share. Tap a contact button to open your phone’s call screen or WhatsApp draft; you still confirm and send it yourself. If a contact cannot be reached, try another listed contact.
Choose English, हिन्दी or मराठी at the top of an emergency profile. For urgent help, call emergency services first, then try the rider’s contacts. The WhatsApp button asks whether to include your current location. Include it only if you are at the accident site; your phone requests location once, with your permission. It opens a prepared WhatsApp message to that contact with a Google Maps location link. The helper chooses when to send. Pedalink does not store the location or track anyone.
