A little guidance
Here to help.
Activating your tag
Scan the QR with your phone camera, use the website camera scanner, or enter your tag code or URL. No app is needed. New codes contain seven letters and numbers; older eight-character codes still work. Unknown codes cannot be activated. Choose a PIN when setting up your profile; use it with your name for future edits. If activation was interrupted, retry without closing the form or sign in with your name and PIN if your tag was already activated.
The website scanner asks for permission only after you choose Open camera. It processes video in your browser without recording or uploading it. Use a secure HTTPS connection and a browser that supports camera access. If access is blocked, change your browser permission or use manual entry. If another app is using the camera, close it and try again. Stop camera closes the preview; switching tabs also stops it.
Know your tag
The QR side opens the digital profile. The rider-information side carries the manufactured text, which cannot change when you edit online.

Editing or removing details
Choose Edit Your Tag and enter the full name on your digital profile and your PIN. Capitalization and extra spaces do not matter. You can update details, change your PIN using your current PIN, deactivate a lost tag, or delete personal data. If your session expires, sign in again. After changing your name, use the updated name to sign in. Deactivation is permanent and hides the public profile while keeping it privately available to you. Deletion removes personal data from the live database; old codes are never reused. See Privacy for backup and retention limits.
Name and PIN access
Choose a PIN of 6–128 letters or numbers during activation. Your name is public, so use a longer, unique PIN and save it securely. PINs are case-sensitive. There is no automatic PIN reset or phone recovery. Never send your PIN, medical details or phone numbers in a support message.
Cannot open a profile?
Check your internet connection and scan the clean QR again. Try again after a temporary-unavailability message. A deactivated tag will no longer show rider details. Built-in QR error correction may help with a small scratch or obstruction, but scanning is never guaranteed. Heavy mud, glare, poor lighting, a difficult angle or damage to a critical part can prevent a scan. Keep the code flat, visible and clean; replace a tag that is difficult to read.
Contact options
If an app does not open, select and copy the visible contact phone number. Calling depends on your device and phone service. WhatsApp requires internet access and the contact’s use of WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens a draft with no medical details or location and does not automatically send it. If the contact does not answer, try the secondary contact if shown. Do not delay local emergency services when urgent help is needed.
Call 112 for urgent emergency assistance in India. The public profile also offers 108 ambulance and 100 police in its visible emergency-services card. 108 coverage and operation may vary by state or Union Territory. 100 is a familiar legacy police number; 112 is the preferred unified option. Call buttons open your phone’s call screen; you confirm the call. Pedalink sends no location or incident details and does not dispatch or control responders. Service availability and response cannot be guaranteed. Outside India, call the local emergency number.
Contact the operator
Support is not yet configured for this pre-launch application. Operator contact details must be added before real-user launch.
